Minerals play a key role in so many aspects of our health. They support our hormones, make enzymes, fuel our cells and support our adrenals. But because of daily stressors, many of us have depleted mineral stores. This mineral mocktail recipe will help you replenish your stores and support your health.

Adrenal Mineral Mocktail

Minerals run the body. Really…they do. They are the spark plugs of our cells. Every single cell requires minerals to make energy, make hormones, signal hormone, and make enzymes.

But when we’re chronically stressed, our cells burn through our minerals FAST. And our bodies really FEEL this. I’m talking:

  • Low energy or tiredness
  • Bloating
  • Constipation
  • Muscle cramping
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Anxiety or low mood
  • Headaches

If you catch yourself constantly reaching for a 3PM pick-me-up or an afternoon coffee to get through the day, try swapping it for an adrenal mocktail to help replenish your minerals. It’s as simple as:

  1. Pick a vitamin C base
  2. Add some potassium and magnesium
  3. Sprinkle in some salt

And to help balance out the sugar content, we can add

  • A fat source: like coconut milk
  • A protein source: such as collagen powder
